Google has released an important design update for the YouTube TV app. This update has been released to mark the completion of 20 years of the video streaming platform. Due to the latest redesign, the custom multiview feature has been expanded. Users will get this feature in the coming days. The updated YouTube TV app will get a better video player interface. Along with this, the platform has expanded the multiview capability, which was previously limited to only sports and news. That is, you can also use this feature on non-sports content.

The company has added new features to YouTube TV, YouTube Kids and YouTube main app. The company has also released a blogpost on the occasion of YouTube completing 20 years. In this blogpost, YouTube has released many details, which states that 20 million videos are uploaded on this platform every day.

In the blogpost, YouTube said that in the next few weeks YouTube TV members will be able to experiment with the multiview feature on non-sports content. This feature will be started with a small group of popular channels and will be expanded in the coming days.

YouTube TV experience will change

Using this feature, users will be able to create a personalized split-screen grid. Apart from this, a better video player interface will be available on the YouTube TV app. After the new update, group channel info, description and subscriber button will be available on the left. At the same time, other options will be available in the playback control center on the right.

Apart from these, YouTube users will get a new voice reply feature for comments. This feature will be added by the end of this year. Along with this, the Ask Music feature will also be added to it. This will be an AI tool, which will allow users to create personalized radio stations.

Users can describe their mood or what kind of music they want to listen to. This feature will currently be available to YouTube Premium users. Apart from this, premium users will get 4X playback speed.
