World’s premature baby born in America
The baby born at 21 weeks was called the world’s most premature baby. Because baby was born about 19 weeks earlier than normal newborns. This child has been named Curtis. Both mother and child are healthy. Mother Michelle Butler went into labor on 4 July 2020. After this she was admitted to the hospital. The next day she gave birth to twins, Curtis and C’Asya, over lunch. But C’Asya died the very next day.
Mother gave birth to twins
Generally, the chances of survival of babies born so early are very less. Doctors say that only one percent of children survive in such a situation. Curtis is one of them. The doctors and the parents did not give up in saving baby. Doctors kept on taking care of Curtis admitted in the ICU of the hospital and was always alert.
The danger is not over
Curtis was put on a ventilator for three months. After being in the hospital for 275 days, was discharged from the hospital. Doctors say that the challenge is not over yet, Curtis taught to breathe through the mouth. Curtis needs to be completely taken care of. Periodic medical examination is also required.
Interesting read. As I am reading it a year later I am curious and hopeful to know how the baby is doing. Maybe a follow up would be a good idea
sure our team will work on it and update. Thankx
