Researchers asked the volunteers who participated in the study their level of exhaustion on a scale from one to five, based on certain activities.
This included activities like 30-minute walk, light housework and heavy gardening. After taking into account all the factors affecting mortality, the researchers found that volunteers who took part in the activities felt more exhausted, they had a higher risk of premature death. These risks included factors such as depression, pre-existing or incurable disease, age and gender.

Glynn, associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Pitts Graduate School of Public Health. Data will help people understand the importance of exercise. In a previous study, there were indications that being more physically active reduces the level of exhaustion in a person. While the first study to link more severe physical fatigue to early death.
