Solar Eclipse 2021 today in India: The first solar eclipse of this year (Solar Eclipse 2021) is going to take place on 10th June i.e. today. This is the second eclipse to occur within 15 days. In astrology, an eclipse occurring at such a short interval of time is considered inauspicious. In total there are 4 eclipses this year. Two solar eclipses and 2 lunar eclipses. The first lunar eclipse has taken place on 26 May while the second lunar eclipse will take place on 19 November. The first solar eclipse of this year is happening on 10th June i.e. today. This day is the new moon day of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month. Apart from this, Shani Jayanti and Vat Savitri Vrat are also observed on this day. This eclipse will take place at 1:42 pm and will end at 6.41 pm of 10th June 2021.

This solar eclipse on June 10 will be partially visible in North America, Europe, Asia. While Greenland, northern Canada and Russia will see a total solar eclipse. According to NASA’s map, this solar eclipse will be visible only in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh in India.

What are the rules of Sutak 

The sutak of solar eclipse starts 12 hours before the eclipse. According to the scriptures, the rules of Sutak are considered where this eclipse is visible. The rules of this solar eclipse will be applicable only in those parts of Arunachal Pradesh where this eclipse will be visible. No rules of Sutak will be valid in rest of India.
