Public curfew has been imposed in Amravati district of Maharashtra from 6 pm on Saturday to 8 am on Monday. During this time, everything except medical and essential services will remain closed in the entire Amravati district. These orders have been issued by Shailesh Naval, Collector of Amravati.

According to the guidelines issued by BMC, it will be mandatory for everyone to wear masks in public places. It will be necessary to wear masks in the street, shop, office, market, clinics, hospital premises. It will be necessary to wear masks at office, work site, work place. No officer or staff will hold a meeting without wearing a mask or attending the ceremony. If caught without a mask, a fine of 200 rupees will be imposed.
