The Economist Intelligence Unit has recently released the ranking of the safest cities in the world. This ranking is based on 76 parameters including digital, health, infrastructure, personal and environmental security. Let us know which cities have made it to the top-10 in the list.
Safest City Number 10 : Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, has been ranked as the tenth safest city in the world. Stockholm has got 78 points in this list.
Safest City Number 9 : Melbourne city of Australia is at 9th position in the list. Melbourne has made it to the top-10 with 78.6 points.
Safest City Number 8 : According to the list, Hong Kong is the eighth safest city in the world, scoring 78.5 points.
Safest City Number 7 : While New Zealand’s capital Wellington is at the seventh position with 79 points.
Safest City Number 6 : Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, is the sixth safest place in the world with a score of 79.3 points.
Safest City Number 5 : Tokyo, the capital of Japan, which hosted the ‘Olympics 2020’, has become the fifth safest place in the world with 80 points. In the index of the year 2019, Tokyo was at the first position in the list of safest cities.
Safest City Number 4 : Sydney, another city in Australia, has been ranked as the fourth safest city in the world with a score of 80.1 points.
Safest City Number 3 : Singapore has slipped from second place to third place with 80.7 points.
Safest City Number 2 : Canada’s Toronto city has secured the second position in the list with 82.2 points. Toronto has gained four places. Last time Toronto was ranked sixth in the list of the safest cities in the world.
Safest City Number 1 : Denmark’s capital Copenhagen ranks first in the list of the safest cities in the world with a score of 82.4 points. The city was ranked eighth in the 2019 index, which has topped this time.
