Russia Ukraine crisis: Putin said amid ‘war’ with Ukraine – NATO ignored Russian security demands [TKB WORLD]

Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a big announcement amid the ongoing dispute with Ukraine. Vladimir Putin announced that Donetsk and Luhansk, two regions in eastern Ukraine, would be recognized as independent countries. Putin has also signed an order for this.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address on Ukraine that it would be a direct threat to Russia’s security if Ukraine joined NATO. Putin said that modern Ukraine was completely built by Russia. This process started after the 1917 revolution. In his address, Putin said, “As a result of Bolshevik policy, Soviet Ukraine emerged, which can still be called Vladimir Ilyich Lenin’s Ukraine.” He said that this can also be confirmed by documents.

Putin said, now Lenin’s monuments in Ukraine have been demolished.  Speaking on Ukraine’s statehood, Vladimir Putin said that Russia had assumed obligations to repay debts in exchange for giving part of its foreign assets to newly independent states. In 1994, such agreements were made with Ukraine, but they were not ratified by Ukraine. He said that Ukraine preferred to work in such a way that its relations with Russia also remain, rights and benefits should also belong to it, but no responsibility should be given to it.

Russia helped Ukraine
The Russian President said that Ukraine is an integral part of our history and it is our old ally. From 1991 to 2013, Russia helped Ukraine. Putin said that all states of the Soviet Union have the right to be independent. Putin said that a stable government has not yet been formed in Ukraine. Russia has created modern Ukraine. He said that Ukraine did not act in the interest of the people. The condition of the economy of Ukraine is very bad. Putin said Stalin separated Ukraine from Russia.

Accusing America
President Putin further said that America used Ukraine and Georgia. America does not want to see Russia strong. He said that Russia had expressed its desire to join NATO with America, but Clinton did not give me a good response to this. The Russian President said that the kind of trust between the two countries has now been lost by both the countries. He said that we are ready to resolve the tension through dialogue on the Ukraine crisis. Will respond to the action taken against us. We have every right to defend our country.

Earlier, in a meeting of Security Council officials, Putin said that recognition of eastern Ukraine is being considered. Russia has made every effort to reduce tension. An attempt was made to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. Putin also said that we do not want any guarantee from NATO and America. Russia never wanted to allow Ukraine to join NATO. Russia thought that if Ukraine joined NATO, then NATO soldiers and bases would come and stand near its border.
