Prime Minister Modi and his Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen held a virtual bilateral summit on September 28, 2020. The news regarding the summit was shared by the External Affairs Ministry on September 27 and the summit was hosted by India.
This year earlier on September 26, 2020 India and Denmark signed IP relations between two nations, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of Intellectual Property Cooperation.

India-Demark Virtual Bilateral Summit: Highlights
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address during the virtual bilateral summit with his Danish counterpart highlighted that both the nations share a rule-based, humanitarian, transparent, and democratic value system. He added that the events from the past few months have made it extremely clear that how important it is for the like-minded countries to come together.
• While not mentioning any country, the Prime Minister of India noted that the pandemic has shown that it is risky to have global supply chains dependent on a single source.
