Plane crashes in Russia, 16 dead expected [TKB World]

A Russian plane carrying parachute drivers crashed on Sunday. At least 16 people are feared dead in this. A total of 23 people were on board the plane. The L-410 plane crashed at around 9:23 am local time.

A picture of the plane that crashed has surfaced, in which a part of it is seen broken. The Health Ministry informed that seven people on board the aircraft were seriously injured, who are being treated at a local hospital.

According to the Infax news agency, the plane belonged to the Voluntary Society to Aid Russia’s Army, Aviation and Navy, which describes itself as a sports and defense organization. Earlier this year, two L-410 planes crashed in Russia.
