The Pakistan Navy has rescued nine crew members of the Indian sailing vessel ‘Jamna Sagar’ that was sunk in the Arabian Sea near Gwadar. According to a Navy spokesperson, the ship ‘Jamna Sagar’ sank along with nine crew members.
Pakistani Navy came to know about the sinking of the ship and the team immediately rescued the stranded crew of the sinking ship by providing necessary assistance. In fact, the Pakistani Navy informed a merchant ship nearby and together with the team, nine crew members were rescued. The ship then left for the next port, Dubai. It was on her way to Dubai.
The spokesperson said in a statement that a Pakistan Navy ship accompanied by two helicopters reached the spot and found the body of a crew member who had gone missing after the ship sank.
