What did the Defense Ministry of Afghanistan say?
The siege on this border has been termed ‘illegal’ by the Afghan Defense Ministry. Defense Ministry spokesman Inayatullah Khawarzami said Taliban troops had prevented Pakistani forces from imposing an “illegal” border cordon in the eastern province of Nangarhar. He did not pay attention to the incident of dispute on the border saying that everything is normal now. At the same time, when the Pakistani Army was asked in this regard, there was no response from their side.
