ISKCON temple attacked in Bangladesh, mob beat up devotees [TKB World]

In Bangladesh, even after the warning of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the cases of vandalism in temples and attacks on Hindus are not taking stopping. In Noakhali, Bangladesh, a mob attacked the ISKCON temple and vandalized it fiercely. Not only this, the devotees present in the temple were also beaten up.

The attack was informed by tweeting on behalf of ISKCON. ISKCON has also released pictures of the attack. ISKCON tweeted and said, “Today in Noakhali, Bangladesh, the ISKCON temple and devotees were violently attacked by the mob. There has been a lot of damage to the temple and the condition of many devotees remains critical. We demand the Bangladesh government to ensure the safety of Hindus and bring the guilty to justice.

Attacks on Durga Pandals and Temples
In the Comilla area of Chittagong Mandal of Bangladesh, the attackers attacked Durga Puja pandals at many places by spreading the word of insult to the Quran. Not only this, temples were also vandalized. During this, Hindus were also targeted. Three people have died in these attacks. While more than 500 Hindus have been injured.

Attacks continue despite Sheikh Hasina’s warning
The shocking thing is that attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh are not taking stopping even after PM Sheikh Hasina’s warning. Sheikh Hasina had said in a warning tone that whoever is involved in this attack will not be spared. Sheikh Hasina said that it did not matter what religion they belonged to.
