The Indian Premier League (IPL) fair will be held today (9 April). There are few hours left for the start of the 14th season of the IPL. Which will begin with a match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai as per below schedule. This time the IPL is going to be different in many ways. To avoid the danger of Corona epidemic, the tournament will be played without spectators. This tournament, which lasts for 30 days, will be played in 6 cities.

Due to increasing cases of Corona virus, the league will be organized in a biologically safe environment and spectators will not be allowed to come to the stadium. Two IPL tournaments in just five months is not an ideal situation for concerned stakeholders, but the next seven weeks will be exciting for fans amidst the second wave of Covid-19 cases where they will get to see big sixes, precision yorkers and new talent.

There will be 56 matches in the tournament. Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru will have 10–10 matches each while Ahmedabad and Delhi will have 8–8 matches in this IPL 2021 series . The IPL match will starts in the afternoon  at 3.30 pm, then the match in the evening will start at 7.30 pm as per IST

The first match of the tournament will be played between the previous champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai and the presence of a big hitter in both teams will ensure that there is plenty of spectators, who will not be able to come to the stadium due to the epidemic .
