American tech company Apple is set to start production of its new iPhone series in India. Production here means assembling, because largely phones will be assembled here. Parts will be imported. Sales of iPhone 12 are also getting good and now it will be made in India.

The production of iPhone 12 will be done for local customers in the country itself. This information has been given by the company. The company has said that Apple makes great products for its customers. It is continuously working to give them good service and products.

According to Media Research this festive season of the arrival of iPhone 12 in October has been in great demand. Apple registered a growth of 60 percent in the entire year 2020, while its growth was 100 percent in the festive season. The main reason for this was stated to be the iPhone 12.

Prabhu Ram, Head of Head-Industry, told  that Apple is earning a lot of profit in India. In the time coming from the local montage of the iPhone 12, it will challenge other companies. There was a great sale of iPhone 11, XR and then iPhone 12. With this, the company increased its share in the smartphone market to 4 percent in the festive season last year.

Apple started manufacturing iPhones in India in 2017 with the iPhone SE. Now Apple manufactures many iPhones in India. It has also included XR, iPhone 11 and now iPhone 12.

The iPhone 12 comes with 5G technology. It has an A14 bionic chip, edge-to-edge super retina XDR display. It comes with a flat edge design. Which the company claims that it can be saved to a great extent when the phone falls. In India, Apple will use solar and wind energy for its needs.

Will iPhone 12 be cheaper due to production in India?

Even though it seems that prices will come down due to local production. But the assembling of iPhone XR, iPhone 11 is happening in India only. There is no significant impact on the price. So at the moment it is difficult to say that the prices of iPhone 12 in India are going to be reduced.
