The company has told that they have globally disabled this feature for Ukraine. According to Google, this step has been taken for the safety of the citizens of Ukraine. Before disabling this feature, the company had talked to other sources including the regional authority.
YouTube stops earning Russian channels
Earlier, YouTube had banned the earnings of many other Russian channels including Russian media RT. The earning through YouTube Ads of all these channels has been stopped. Facebook has also taken a similar step on Russia, after which Facebook’s access has been limited in Russia.
