After COVID-19, people’s inclination towards digital has increased a lot in the country. In view of this, Google announced that it is starting new programs for online safety. It was announced by Google in a virtual event.
Google launched the new Google Safety Center in regional languages. The online safety of kids and family will be taken care of through user education program. Apart from this, it also launched the Global Be Internet Awesome program for Indian children.
Google also partnered with Indian comic book publisher Amar Chitra Katha. With this, internet safety will be explained in eight Indian languages through comic book characters.
Google will intensify its campaign against abuse areas such as misinformation, fraud, threats to child safety, phishing attacks and malware. Through this, Google users will be told about the need for digital safety. In this, data security, privacy control and online protections will be told.
It has been designed and crafted by digital safety experts. With this, children, families and educators will be told about staying safe online. The Visual, Interactive Experience Interlard has been given with the Be Internet Awesome tool. With this, children will be able to learn the fundamentals of online safety through play.
