Chrome is a very popular web-browser. Because of this, it also remains a target of hackers. Regarding Google Chrome, it was said that it had many flaws due to which attackers could target users. But, taking immediate action on this, Google released an update for Chrome. These flaws have been fixed in this update. If you have not updated Google Chrome yet, then you should update it immediately. Regarding this, the United States Cyber Security Agency (CISA) and the Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-In) have advised users to update Chrome to the latest version.
According to a post by Google, 7 flaws were found in Chrome. Four of them were quite critical. Because of these flaws, hackers could take complete control of the affected system. According to the advisory, by taking advantage of these loopholes, hackers could execute arbitrary code on the targeted system. The good news is that these flaws have been fixed in the updated version of Google Chrome. For this, you have to update your Google Chrome to version 102.05005.115. These issues are being reported for the past few weeks.
Now Google has released the update for Windows, Mac and Linux Chrome users. However, Google has not shared much information about these flaws. The company has shared the tracking numbers regarding this. Google has tracked four critical vulnerabilities with tracking numbers CVE-2022-2007, CVE-2022-2008, CVE-2022-2010, and CVE-2022-2011. For the safety of the users, CERT-In and CISA have asked them to update the Chrome browser soon.
