In today’s time, due to pollution, oily food and processed food, it is quite common for the skin to become dull. Many People follows a skin care routine but there are many steps that most people forget. One of those steps is to use essential oils.

You must have heard a lot about essential oils like lavender oil, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil and lemongrass oil, but do you know how important they can be for the skin?

Essential oils are obtained from the extracts of flowers, leaves, bark and roots of plants. It is rich in many properties. For example, lavender is extracted from flowers while lemongrass oil is extracted from steam distillation of fresh or partially dried leaves of the lemongrass plant.

How to apply essential oil?

You can mix a few drops of these essential oils with coconut, jojoba or almond oil and apply it on the skin. Add a few drops of essential oil in a spray bottle filled with water and spray it on the face after cleaning it. You can also apply essential oil by mixing it in moisturizer or serum.
