Doubt of lockdown! Migrant laborers returning to their homes in large numbers from Delhi-Pune (TKB-Update)

The country is once again seen going into the same era of Corona virus crisis, where it was last year. On one hand, cases of corona virus are increasing, fear of lockdown in cities is haunting again. So now there are also reports of migrant laborers going back to their homes. The call for lockdown comes to a head amidst ever increasing strictures and migrant laborers from Delhi, Pune and other areas are returning to their homes.

A large number of migrant workers were seen going home at Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi on the previous day. Some of the workers of Bihar say that they were stuck here in lockdown last time, in such a situation, if they are formed again, they do not want to get stuck here. So, we are already going to our house.

Let us tell you that due to Corona crisis, a night curfew has been imposed in Delhi. Many other restrictions have also been imposed. Nevertheless, the cases of Corona continue to grow. In such a situation, there is a fear of lockdown again among the migrant workers.

A similar scene is being seen in Pune, Maharashtra, far from Delhi. Where migrant workers are returning to their cities and villages in large numbers. A huge crowd was seen at the railway station in Pune. It has been said by the Railways that we are following the rules here, there are more numbers but the scale of social distancing is being met.

Afraid of lockdown again?
Significantly, many states like Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, UP have implemented the night curfew in their cities. Weekend lockdown is also going on in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh. The entire lockdown was announced in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on the previous day. In such a situation, people are again afraid of lockdown.

Remember that last year when a sudden lockdown was announced, then lakhs of laborers were stuck in the cities. After which a huge crowd of migrant laborers were seen returning to their villages on the streets.

Corona’s uncontrollable pace, Maharashtra-Delhi suffering
At this time, the speed of corona virus has become uncontrollable in the country. On Thursday too, about 1.25 lakh corona cases were reported in the country. Due to the increasing cases, many states have imposed restrictions on their entry, conditions like corona test are mandatory for entry.

The biggest crisis is in Maharashtra, where around 60 thousand cases have been reported in a single day. For the past several days, Maharashtra is facing more than 50 thousand cases every day. In Delhi also, five and a half thousand cases were registered on the previous day, which is the largest figure of this year.
