Prime Minister Modi started Ro-Packs service
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Ro-Pax ferry service between Hazira to Ghogha in Gujarat through video conferencing on 08 November 2020. Saurashtra and South Gujarat will benefit greatly from the start of Ro-Pax Ferry service. On this occasion, he said that with the start of the Ropax Ferry service between Ghogha and Hazira, the wait of the people of both Saurashtra and South Gujarat region has ended for years.

The Prime Minister said that time will be saved from this service, your expenses will also be reduced. In a year, about 80 thousand vehicles and about thirty thousand trucks will be able to take advantage of this new service. This will also save petrol diesel.

India’s ‘longest single lane motorable suspension bridge’ inaugurated in Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated the Dobra-Chanthi bridge in Tehri-Garhwal district on 08 November 2020. As news, it is being described as the ‘longest single lane motorable suspension bridge’ in the country. On the occasion of the inauguration, the Chief Minister said that not only Pratapnagar and Tehri, this bridge will also boost tourism in the entire state.

The width of this bridge is 7 meters. The width of the motorway is 5.5 meters and the width of the pavement is 0.75 meters. The age of the Dobra-Chandhi bridge is being told for about 100 years.

HDFC Bank appointed Ramesh Laxminarayan as Chief Information Officer
HDFC Bank recently said that it has appointed Ramesh Laxminarayan as its next Chief Information Officer (CIO). The appointment comes nearly four months after the resignation of former CIO Munish Mittal.

It is also the first major appointment announced by the bank’s new chief executive officer and managing director, Shasidhar Jagdishan. Laxminarayan joined the rating agency Crisil where he was working as Chief Technology and Information.
