Corona Vaccination: India sets world record by vaccinating in one day more than 84 Lakh people [TKB-Health]

The war against Corona virus has intensified in the country. For the prevention of Kovid-19, the pace of the vaccination campaign was intensified from Monday. In the country from June 21, free vaccination of people above the age of 18 years was further intensified, with this the country made a record of vaccination on the very first day. According to government data, more than 84 lakh doses of corona vaccine were administered on the first day. Expressing happiness over the record of vaccination, Prime Minister Modi also said Weldon India through Twitter.

The number of doses of vaccine that India has applied in a day is not even that of 92 countries of the world. India has given more vaccines in a single day than the population of countries like Singapore, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Ireland, New Zealand.

Talking about the number of vaccine doses and the population of some countries, the population of Singapore is 5.9 million, Denmark’s 5.8 million, Finland 5.5 million, Norway 54 million, Ireland 49 million and New Zealand 48 million. In this sense, the number of vaccines that India has applied in a day is more than the population of many countries.

The speed that India has made on vaccination now needs to be maintained and if it remains so, the target of vaccination can be achieved by December. India needed to inject around 80 to 90 lakh doses per day to be fully vaccinated by December. The good thing is that we have caught the same speed.

Madhya Pradesh made a record

Madhya Pradesh has made a record in the Maha Vaccination campaign started on World Yoga Day. During 10 hours in a single day, such a large population in Madhya Pradesh got the vaccine as the population of countries like Bhutan, Bahrain and Mauritius is not there. According to the data received till 11 pm, 16 lakh 41 thousand people were given corona vaccine in Madhya Pradesh from 10 am to 8 pm, which is the highest in the country.

Let us tell you that the population of Bhutan is about 7 lakh 70 thousand while the population of Bahrain is about 15 lakh. At the same time, the population of Mauritius is about 12 lakh 80 thousand. But in Madhya Pradesh, more than 16 lakh people were vaccinated within 10 hours, which is more than the population of these countries. The data kept updating till 11 pm and till then the government released the data of 16 lakh 70 thousand 340 people being given corona vaccine.

Tremendous vaccination in UP too

In UP too, on the first day, the vaccination has exceeded the target. On Monday, June 21, 6,90,000 vaccine doses were given in the state. CM Yogi tweeted and thanked PM Modi, CM Yogi wrote, “It is the result of the energetic inspiration of respected Prime Minister that today we were successful in immunization more than the target. From today @UPGovt has distributed 06 lakh vaccine doses per day.” Against which 6,90,000 doses were given today. This is a great example of public participation in the fight for humanity.
