Children born from today (01/01/2025) will be Generation BETA… Know why ?

Till now we were learning to differentiate between Gen Z and Gen Alpha that another generation has come. The name of this new generation is ‘Generation Beta’. Children born from January 1, 2025 have been named ‘Generation Beta‘.

Usually the name of any generation is decided on the basis of historical, cultural and economic events of that time. The beginning and end of a generation is based on any major event of that time (war, economic growth or any major technological change). These generations usually have a period of 15-20 years.

So let’s know the name of the generation and the story behind them.

• The Greatest Generation (GI Generation): 1901-1927

The generation born at this time is known as The Greatest Generation. Most of the people of this generation suffered the pain of the Great Depression. Most of the children born at this time became soldiers and participated in World War 2 to protect the country. At this time, raising a family was considered an achievement. This generation was very focused on their work, which became their identity. They also passed on the experience they had to their next generations as a legacy.

• The Silent Generation: 1928-1945

This generation is known as The Silent Generation due to the consequences of the Great Depression and World War 2. The children of this generation were hardworking and self-reliant.

• Baby Boomer generation: 1946-1964

This generation was named Baby Boomers due to the huge increase in population after World War 2. This generation adopted modernity. People of the Baby Boomers generation raised their children in a new way. Technology was new for them.

• Generation X: 1965-1980

Technology was also new for Generation X. Internet and video games started in this era. People of this generation grew up in a rapidly changing world. Parents of this generation tried to provide every kind of facility to their children.

• Millennials or Generation Y: 1981-1996

Generation Y is known as Millennials. People of this generation have seen and learned the most changes. People of this generation have updated themselves with technology.

• Generation Z: 1997-2009

This generation got platforms like internet and social media soon after birth. This generation, which grew up in the digital age, cannot even imagine living without smartphones and internet. This generation knows very well how to earn money from social media in the digital age.

• Generation Alpha: 2010-2024

This is the first generation that had social media and internet platforms even before their birth. This is the youngest new generation. The parents of the children of this generation have grown up with internet, mobile phones and social media.

• Generation Beta: 2025-2039

The era of Generation Beta  begin from January 1, 2025. Children born in the year 2025 will be called ‘Beta Kids’. These children will grow up in a world where technology will be an important part of life. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will have a greater role in the lives of Generation Beta.
