Amidst the fears and dangers of the third wave of Corona, the government has decided to cancel the CBSE 12th examination. Prime Minister Modi took a decision on this issue on Monday after extensive discussions with the state and other stakeholders. In such a situation, now the question is arising that on what basis the examination results of the students will be decided. If the student is not satisfied with his result then what are the options for him. Here the answer….
In the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the CBSE officials to prepare the results of class 12 students in a time bound manner as per the well-defined norms. Along with this, the CBSE board has also been asked to facilitate that if a student is not satisfied with his result, then he should be given a second chance for offline examination. But this will happen only in those circumstances when the conditions regarding Corona will be normal.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who attended the meeting, said that internal examination can also be made on the basis of preparation of results. So far, the students who have had two internal exams of class 11th and 12th. On the basis of that assessment, the result will calculate. There will also be facility for their admission in every exam like last year and later when the situation becomes normal then they can take the exam.
If you are wondering how CBSE can prepare the result in a transparent and all-encompassing way, then the answer is the new exam policy prepared by the board for class X. In the policy adopted by the CBSE Board to prepare the results of the students of class X, it has also been said to constitute a result committee comprising seven school teachers along with the principal. This committee will play a full role in preparing the result.
Apart from the principal, there will be seven teachers in this committee who will finalize the result. Five of these teachers will be from the same school. These five teachers will be from Mathematics, Social Science, Science and two languages. Apart from this, there will be two teachers in the committee from any other nearby school, who will be included as external members of the school committee. May be the board adopts similar policy for 12th also…
It has been given in Annexure One of the policy issued by CBSE that how this committee will be prepared. The name of this committee will be the result committee whose chairperson will be the principal of the school. After this, the five teachers who will be selected will be such who are well acquainted with the academic performance of the students, that is, those who have taught these children and have been in touch with them.
Apart from this, about the two teachers who will be added from outside in the committee, it should be ensured that they will assess the result honestly. These teachers should also be from CBSE affiliated schools which have been teaching class 10 only. But at the same time it is also to be remembered that a teacher who is in the result committee of one school will not be included in the committee of another school. Both the schools must make sure this among themselves. Not only this, these two schools should not be under the same management.
The first responsibility of this committee is to prepare a fair and non-discriminatory result of class X during the pandemic period. It is necessary for all the members of the committee to have a detailed understanding of the policy. Apart from this, they should keep more and more information about it by talking among themselves.
It is also being said that the board will similarly plan for assessment for class 12th so that these students can be assessed in a transparent manner. At the same time, people in the education sector also claim that the board can also adopt other smart methods of home assignment and assessment to prepare the 12th result. But apart from this, the most obvious thing is that if a student is still not satisfied with the result, then he can also give an offline exam if the corona infection is less.
