Buddha Purnima is being celebrated on 05 May 2023, Friday. Buddha Purnima is also known as Vaishakh Purnima and Satya Vinayak Purnima. Lunar eclipse will start on 5 May 2023 i.e. tonight at 8.44 pm and will end on 6 May 2023 at 1.02 am. Siddhi Yoga will also be created during this time. After taking bath in the morning, offer Arghya to the Sun God and float sesame seeds in the flowing water. Water should also be offered to the Peepal tree. Since Shani Jayanti is also celebrated in some areas on this day, Shani Dev should be worshiped by lighting oil, sesame and lamp etc. You can also recite Shani Chalisa or chant Shani mantras. Donation and Dakshina should also be given according to your ability.
