Apple has announced a new seasonal education offer. Under this, customers will get AirPods free on buying a new Mac or iPad. This offer has been made live for Indian users on the online Apple Store. Eligible users can buy a Mac or iPad for college or university and get AirPods for free.
Only new college/university students, parents buying for them and teachers and staff at all levels are eligible for this offer. University ID or acceptance offer will be required for this offer.
Through this offer, education users will get AirPods (wired charging) free on purchase of some Macs or iPads. The eligible products for this offer are MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro and Mac mini, iPad Pro and iPad Air.
Also, if you want to buy AirPods or AirPods Pro with wireless charging, then you will have to pay a little more money. Users will be charged Rs 4,000 for upgrading to AirPods with wireless charging and Rs 10,000 for AirPods Pro. This offer can only be accessed online through the Special Education section of the Apple Store. Only eligible users will be able to access it after verification.
Apart from the seasonal offers, there are also some education offers that Apple offers throughout the year. This list includes 20 percent off on Apple Care, education discount on Apple Pencil and keyboard, Rs 49 Apple Music Student plan with free Apple TV+ subscription and free Apple Arcade subscription for three months. After the end of three months, Apple will charge Rs 99 per month for the gaming subscription.
To be eligible for the offer, users need to visit the UNiDAYS page to verify their institution. Here you have to follow the instruction and enter your university name to finish the verification. If the verification is not done through UNiDAYS, users can call Apple Support on 000800 040 1966 or connect with an Apple Specialist.
