For the past few days, a video and picture is going viral on social media. In which a figure like a sleeping woman is being shown in the middle of a snowy valley. This figure is being called ‘The Sleeping Lady’. It is also being claimed that the mountain is in Anchorage, Alaska. Let’s know the truth of this mountain? Is there really such a thing? Or is it the result of someone’s evil mind?

Actually The Sleeping Lady is a mountain. This American province is in Anchorage, Alaska. It is called Mount Susitna over there. It is about 4390 feet high. On its western bank is the Susitna River. Seeing it from a distance, it seems that a woman is lying down. It is felt because of its shape. But the picture which is going viral on social media is not a real mountain.

There is no such figure like the picture of Sleeping Lady going viral on social media anywhere in the whole earth. This is a digital art. Which was created by Jean Michel Bihorel. They also have their own site. On which he is also doing a showcase to sell this digital art. Its price has been kept around 3000 Euro i.e. Rs 2.65 lakh. The same painting is being shared on social media platforms with different handles.

Let us tell you that there are more than 20 mountains in the world of The Sleeping Lady or similar names. Where when viewed from a particular angle, it seems that a woman or a beautiful girl is sleeping there. Somewhere it is called by the names Sleeping Beauty, Somewhere Sleeping Queen, Sleeping Woman etc. But there is not a single place that matches the digital art of Jean-Michel Behorel. This is the imagination of his mind.

Jean has also admitted on a social media platform that he had created an artwork, which the Internet has taken in a different sense. If someone likes this artwork then he will order it to buy. The Sleeping Lady or three mountains with similar names are in America. Apart from this, two in Algeria, Cambodia, Chile, China, Greece, Martinique, Mexico, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand.

Alaska’s Mount Susitna is filled with glaciers throughout the year. In summer, the snow from the peaks melts but the glaciers frozen below do not end. There are 5 to 7 large glaciers in this area, for which scientists from all over the world reach Alaska. The oldest glaciers present here are located in Mount Susitna, Karibu Hills, Eklutna, Nick, and Naptown. They are considered to be glaciers of the Pleistocene Era. That is, they are more than 20 lakhs from 11 thousand years.

However, some part of Mount Susitna is older than the Mesozoic Era, that is, from 630 million years to 230 million years old. Because quartz monozonite of Jurassic time has been found in it. This means that first this hill was formed, after that the ice started to freeze on it, due to which there are big glaciers here today.
