A strange decree has once again been issued by the Taliban rulers of Afghanistan. Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers have ordered all female T.V.anchors to cover their faces while reading news on TV channels. Earlier this month, the Taliban publicly ordered all women to wear head-to-toe clothing. The Taliban also issued a decree banning girls from going to school after the sixth grade.
Applicable to all media groups

It has been said in the tweet that it is being implemented on other Afghan media as well. An Afghan media confirmed that the order has also come to them. It was told from the media that they have no other option but to accept it.
Anchor reading news by covering face
Several female anchors posted pictures of themselves on social media, in which they were seen covering their faces with masks while presenting the show. An anchor of Tolo News posted a video of herself wearing a face mask with a caption. She wrote in the caption, A woman is being eradicated on the orders of the Deputy Ministry.
Taliban notorious for issuing such decrees
When the Taliban first came to power from 1996-2001, it imposed heavy restrictions on women. In which the burqa was to be worn, along with an order was issued to cover the eyes with a mesh cloth. After retaking power in Afghanistan in August, the Taliban initially relaxed restrictions by announcing a dress code for women. But in recent weeks, they once again issued different decrees towards women.
