WhatsApp ends its support for some older smartphones every year. Ending support means that its features will stop working in those smartphones.
Since the company brings new features every day. These features are not supported in older phones. Not only this, WhatsApp says that even from the security point of view, support for WhatsApp is turned off in older phones.
Similarly, on November 1, 2021, WhatsApp will stop working in some older devices. The list of these devices has been released by WhatsApp. If you also have one of these smartphones, then now you may have to upgrade the smartphone.
WhatsApp will not work even in Android smartphones that still have versions older than Android 4.1. Similarly, WhatsApp will not work on iPhone with version below iOS 10. WhatsApp will not support even on feature phones with versions below KaiOS 2.5.1.
