Lonar lake, Sur Sarovar lake added to Ramsar site
Lonar Lake in Maharashtra and Sur Sarovar Lake in Agra, Uttar Pradesh have been added to the Ramsar site. Sur Sarovar Lake is also known as Keetham Lake. Lonar Lake is the only crater lake in India. The Ramsar Convention aims to preserve the ecology of wetlands of international importance. Ramsar is a place in Iran.

Draft rules notified under the Code on Social Security
The Labor Minister has launched the draft rules under the Social Security Code. To enable unorganized workers and platform workers to receive social security benefits, the Ministry of Labor has made a provision for their self-registration on the government portal. The rules were framed by the Ministry of Labor under Social Security, 2020. It is related to Employees Provident Fund, Employees State Insurance Corporation, Gratuity, Maternity.

RCEP: 15 Asian Countries Sign Largest Trade Agreement
On November 15, 2020, fifteen Asia-Pacific economies signed an agreement to establish a Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). It is considered to be the largest free trade block in the world.
