11,000-year-old human figure found in Turkey [TKB World]

Strange things are happening in Turkey. Archaeologists have recently discovered an ancient place, which is about 11 thousand years old. It is found at the bottom of a small hill. Here a human-shaped statue made on the wall and penis-shaped pillars have been found. However, the reason for making these ancient remains at that time is not yet known. But archaeologists are still studying about it.

It is believed that ancient people used to do some kind of cultural or traditional parade at this place. However, no disclosure has yet been made about what actually happened here? This place is located in the east of a place called Sanliurfa in southern Turkey. The name of this place is Karahantepe

Nekmi Karul, a prehistoric archaeologist at Istanbul University, says that this place with a human-shaped statue and penis-shaped pillars is believed to be from the time when humans did not learn to write. His discovery has recently been published in the journal Türk Arkeoloji ve Etnografya Dergisi.

In the article published in the journal, Neckmi Karul did not explain why this human-shaped and penis-shaped pillars have been made after all. Or what is the purpose behind making them. Where these strange types of ancient remains have been found. There used to be one building, which was connected to three separate buildings. Seeing which it seems that it was some kind of complex.

Naqmi Karul told that seeing this complex, it seems that some kind of programs must have been happening here. Because it is a big structure. In which people would have been similar to each other. Those who would be doing some program by revolving around the penis-shaped pillars built around this human-shaped idol. But what kind of programs would have been…it is not yet known.

Nekmi Karul said that more studies and mining are needed to find out the programs happening here. Because usually many types of utensils, instruments, furniture, jewelry etc. are used in any program. If we get something like this, then there can be many new revelations ahead.

After performing the program at this place, soil was filled at this place. Because a thick layer of soil is frozen in many places, including the rocky human face and penis-shaped pillars found here. So that this place is not spoiled. It is said that by filling it with soil or covering something, its life was prolonged. Also, if no one knew about that place, then the possibility of any damage there would have been reduced.

Karahantepe was actually discovered in 1997. But since then till the year 2019, mining work could not start there. During this, Turkish archaeologists were engaged in the discovery of many other ancient places. Ancient discoveries are being made continuously from Turkey, which are making new revelations related to history.
